At Greenbank, we believe sport is a fundamental part of the school week and should be a positive and inclusive experience for all children. Participation in sport promotes a healthy lifestyle, builds self-esteem and confidence, and helps children develop key social skills. Sport also motivates children to excel academically and foster a sense of teamwork and discipline.
Greenbank competes in a variety of sports with other independent and local schools, including netball, football, tag rugby, hockey, swimming, water polo, cross-country running, dance, cricket, rounders and athletics. In addition, interschool House matches allow every child to experience the thrill of playing for a team and competing in friendly sporting events.
