Join the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.
Study at the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music and perform as part of the Manchester Cathedral Choir.

Highlights: Chamber Choir

Our Chamber Choir exemplifies Greenbank’s commitment to celebrating cultural diversity and fostering unity through music.

They recently performed "Amani Utupe" during Equality and Diversity Week, sharing a powerful message of love and unity.
At Manchester Cathedral’s Interfaith Service, they opened the ceremony with the same inspiring piece to mark Mahatma Gandhi’s 154th birth anniversary.

Delivering the Music Curriculum

From Preschool to Year Six, music is an integral part of the timetable:

Preschool: One 25-minute lesson with the Head of Music, complemented by activities led by Preschool staff.
Reception to Year Six: Two 35-minute lessons each week.
Weekly 30-minute hymn practice for Infant and Junior Departments.
Wherever possible, music lessons are linked to class topics, making the subject engaging and relevant.

Performance opportunities are woven into the school year, giving every pupil the chance to shine in both formal and informal settings.
