Preschool offers a nurturing, home-from-home environment where children access a range of learning opportunities. Our ‘Bee Curious’ approach aims to inspire creative thinking and independent learning with open-ended, natural and real resources.
Preschool provides care and education for children from September after they turn three for 50 weeks of the year from 7.30 am-6.00 pm. Our aim is to create a stimulating environment enabling our little learners to explore, create and experiment.
Learning opportunities are carefully planned with children’s interests and developmental needs in mind. This ensures that every child learns at their own pace with sufficient support or challenge.
Children can access an exciting range of activities inside and outside whatever the weather! As part of a rich and varied curriculum, we enjoy visits to the pantomime and an end-of-year school trip.
Pre School is an integral part of the whole school community with children taking part in an Early Years Nativity, school concerts, dance shows and sports day. Our children also benefit from specialist music, dance and PE teachers.
We strive to engage parents as partners through regular stay-and-play sessions and curriculum workshops.
Our fundamental aim is to foster independence, confidence and resilience. Children leave us with the requisite skills and attitude required to succeed at school.
