Bursary Scheme

Bursary Scheme

We have introduced a generous new bursary scheme offering full fee and part fee places worth up to £6,200 p.a. Bursaries are offered to families of talented children who would not normally be able to afford the annual fees.

The move has been made to enable the school’s Trustees to meet their obligations under the new Charity Act, and there may also assistance with additional costs, such as uniform and the cost of school trips in particular cases.

The offer is being made to the parents of boys and girls who will be aged between 7 and 10 years old this September.

Interested parents are asked to contact the school on 0161 485 3724 for further details or come to the Open Morning on Saturday February 25th. Bursaries will also be available for pupils who show special talents for sport, music, art and drama.

Greenbank is a member of the Independent Schools’ Association (ISA), and is a leading feeder school for all the area’s top independent and state secondary schools including Manchester Grammar School, Stockport Grammar School, Cheadle Hulme, King¹s Macclesfield and Withington High School. To secure an award applicants will ultimately be required to give a financial statement. Awards are also open to current parents.
Please email or ring the school for a bursary application pack.
