Curriculum

Our curriculum is based around the National Curriculum, but we very much consider this to be an initial framework on which we can extend and build a dynamic and diverse programme of study. This allows our children to explore areas of interest, to indulge and extend any areas of expertise, and allows our teachers to identify and maximise areas of potential for each individual child. It ensures that we give our pupils a diverse, stimulating and enjoyable environment in which to learn, where each child’s individual learning needs are understood, and each child is developed by considering their own needs. Children are given wide opportunities to use ICT to support their understanding – through our Interactive Whiteboards, the I.C.T. suite, and through using classroom computers.
